How to make a video diary

1) First you need a video camera. This can be VHS, VHSc, 8mm, Hi8, Mini DV or DVD.

2) What is a video diary? A video Diary is you, family or friends starring in your own video.

3) What can the Video Diarys be about? This is up to you it can anything from maybe a day in your life, family and friends fun, fashion show, pop video, the choice is up to you, but please add some cheerleading in the video.

4) Who can make a video? Anyone who is a cheerleader.

5) What can I film? There are no restrictions you film what you like, but if you are under 18 make sure your parents know what you are filming.

7) Will I get to see the video before it goes onto the website? Yes everyone who makes a video diary will receive a DVD, on the disc will be the edited video and all the original material your filmed. You will also get a CD with your film ready to go onto a video ipod if you own one.The video will then go onto the website one week later.

8) So how do I do it? Just download the form available below, fill it in and send the form along with your tape to the address on the form (please note videos can take up to a month to edit, depending on how busy we are).

9) Are their any rules and regulations? If you are Under 18 you must have permission from your parents. Cheerleading TV holds no responsibility for your filmed material.

10) How much shall I film? The more you film the better the diary can be. Most diary's are about 4-5 min's, to make this good you would need about 30mins plus of material.

11) Can I add digital of printed pictures in my diary? Yes just send the pictures or CD with the tape or email them to cheertv@cheerleading.co.uk.
