1) What is Cheerleading TV?

Cheerleading TV is a fun was to see other competitions that you may not know about or would not normally go. Its also gives cheerleading squads and cheerleaders to make their own short films and add picture.

2) How much does it cost?

Cheerleading TV is free, just sit back and enjoy (Please Note: Cheerleading TV has the right to change this in the future, if this happens plenty of warning will be given)

3) What happens if I don't have broadband?

Cheerleading TV will offer where it can a dial up version for those who don't have a broadband connection.

4) What competitions will you be at?

Cheerleading TV will be at all of the BCA, Scotcheer and IDTA competitions, we are hoping to add others during the year.

5) Will you be filming the routines?

No Cheerleading TV will be showing behind the scenes, to see the routines in full you will have to buy the official DVD, Cheerleading TV will offer you links for you to be able to do this.

6) How do I get my squad involved?

Get your coach to simple fill in the online application form, We will then send to the coach the forms. film your squad then send us the tape (s). with your completed forms. You can send an edited version or we will edit the film for you. Please remember its is the coaches responsibility to make sure that all the correct forms are filled in and that parental permission is got for any one under 18 who is appearing in the film.

7) How do I make a video diary?

Simply fill in the online application form, we will send to you an application form (remember those under 18 the forms must be signed by parents or guardians) Just send us the tape(s) and we will edit them before putting them onto cheerleading TV

8) What can we film?

Anything as long as it has something to do with cheerleading. Ideas include Squads: Training, fundraising events, discos, etc. Diary's: Day in the life, Fashion Shows, Pop Videos. If you are not sure just fill in the contact form and we will try and help you.

9) How long will the films be?

We estimate for a diary between 3 - 5 min's, for squads 5 - 10 min's. But remember to film as much as you can, this makes editing easier.

10) Are there any restrictions to what you can film?

No there are not (those under 18 must make sure your parents/guardians know what you are doing) and don't forget to read the Terms and conditions.

11) Will the films be made available?

At the moment no, but we hope to release a DVD every three months, this will include all films featured on the website from the previous three months.

12) What format can we film on?

Only the following: VHS, VHSC, Super VHS, Standard 8, Hi8, Mini DV, DVD or HD mini DV. If you are sending your films from other parts of the world, please make sure the material is only on DVD.

13) What photos can I send in?

Anything that is cheerleading, individual or squads.

14) How do you become Cheerleading TV - Cheerleader of the month?

If your coach or parent/guardian feels you should be cheerleader of the month, fill in the online application form with why your feel they should be cheerleader of the month and email a photo and we will access your application and those we feel should be featured will be.

15) Can you win anything on Cheerleading TV?

Starting in February 2008 we hope to hold our very own Cheerleading TV oscars and will be giving our very own statues to the best films that we receive. We will also be holding online competitions from time to time.

16) Is there any age restrictions?

None, just make sure if you are under 18 that your parents and guardians know what you are doing. see our terms and conditions.
